Whack the bugger…. With Windows 7

I am back in Kulim Kedah where the Internet is supposed to be ..errm well, not up to par with the requirements which partially promises 7.2M connection to Celcom broadband but then, given the facts and figures, the max I am supposed to get is about 300kbps, which equates to the factor of overheads to 28.8KBps and thats KILOBYTES not KILO BITS (1024 bits=1KB) which is supposed to be ‘Broadband’ but I would say… I needed more..so I am now up to my old tricks again….

For those who are itching for Windows 7.. I have a present for you. I have the ISO MEDIA for download direct from Microsoft, but then, it will take you about ..say 2 days of downloading since it’s 2.25GB big and you can’t cheat by using DownThemAll or DownloadManager boosters.

MSDN will kill me for this..but technically, you can install them, and test it..as you will need a real full key using MICROSOFT ENTERPRISE N version to activate it..or a KMS server cracked off somewhere… which I won’t tell.

Vista to XP and it’s problems

Recently, I got plagued with my cd licence keys being tampered and stolen by some people in my company and that really takes the piss out of me. Really with the Genuine Pack validation and stuff like that, I got blank black screens with my original stickers and well that is the start of the problem.

Thing is, with so many XP Service pack versions of Windows in circulation and that I purchased them on seperate occasions and not all at the same time gives me the creeps. Knowingly, SP1 keys will not work on original XP CD.

Stupid keys for XP3 will not work on SP1 and likewise for the Home Editions. Which is taking the piss out of me. Now I really have to fall back onto upgrading Vista and then downgrading into XP Pro or Home using a pirated installer disc which is really bad. It’s a matter of Principles, when I have PAID for the original thing and I am hereby forced to utilise pirated versions of the installer to get to where I needed to get done.

Post notes:
XP Won’t Allow you to DOWNGRADE from XP Pro to XP Home

Vista allow you to UPGRADE or Downgrade your VISTA VERSIONS (Home Basic to Ultimate etc) using just the update key function

Vista Won’t Let you downgrade your copy to XP Pro or XP Home.
You will need to reinstall a new copy of windows. Microsoft made agreements with HP,DELL,IBM and ACER that if you get a PC or Laptop PREINSTALLED with WINDOWS VISTA, you can get XP Pro for your single use, PROVIDED YOUR CURRENT KEY IS NOT ACTIVATED.

Just use a pirated means to install and then call them, they will provide you a new key and installation certification code. Some of these codes MAY WORK, and are BLACKLISTED from activations:

These keys are BLACKLISTED and Provided by Microsoft for TECHNET scripted Installs.

Mainly, you do a fresh Install. Disregard any updates available etc and just install the copy. Some SATA Drivers are not loaded (many aren’t) and then just run windows as normal. If you update, then you will need a genuine key. I can sell you the key for an exchange of your current Vista Key and the CD. It’s that I got a whole stash of devices which is sitting still.

For those who need the XP Disc for your own PERSONAL INSTALL, I have them in my download repository. It’s for PERSONAL ACCESS ONLY and since it’s flipping HUGE, I’ve break them up to smaller pieces.

I will add more to this soon…or once the data is up.
