Some have not noticed, that Wordpress plugs all links from the Comments. They put a NO-FOLLOW on all the comments so it is plugged just to here and well, the search engines just ignores those comments.
I don’t find a way to disable it but I know its under the comments.php code.
I will push for it soon.
OK, there has been alot of hype and this and that about PageRanks.
While I am hatching my plan up, there is an explaination needed for the common person.
Qn: How many links are needed to Boost my pagerank?
Depends on What level are you on.
A new site is normally PageRank ZERO.
You will need a SEO friendly Sitemap installed.
So how it works? This is based on ALLStar’s theory.
From ZERO(or One normally) to PageRank Five (PR5)
you will need 17,000 Reciprocal PR1 links,
PR6:93,000 ; PR7 : 510,000 and 2.9Million for a PR8.
At $5 a link, it costs a bomb!
From Base of Pagerank TWO:
A PR2 Reciprocal link value to boost to 5;6;7;8.
3,100 ;17,000 ;93,000;510,000 links
More of this are in the post by All Star.
I will do a derivitive analysis later on.
Always a thing to do.
Find where yr visitor came from and thank them. Both the site who refered them and their own blog site.
What is best is if you have a Referer.ORG link , you get to know who link you and then do yourself that favour, return a link. Write a short thanks to them. cURL them. Find an interesting page and post, back track them, link em.
Ask them to use the referer.org so they get a free publicity.
You too get the free publicity. Both get a PR of 0.05 upped.
And thank them on their bloglog page too!
Don’t be lazy and join their personal community too!
Keep in touch, and then U get higher Alexa and Google Dermographics.
Remember, Google knows what you do cos you install that Adsense. It’s a way for them to track the system down.
Yep. Do your mouse a favour.
Exercise it.
Go fetch a community with alot of users in the community itself.
Open it’s Members List
Check out every member’s profile. (Open in new tab will be best)
and then go to their site.
Pick a few ideas of theirs and think. Is their idea worth an eyelid to bat on? Yes, then leave a comment. No, close Tab.
Then you see these people will return the favour and see YOUR SITE.
Even if they don’t, just looking at your profile will be fine. Leave them a THANK YOU note.
Leave a URL with your message …like Thanks for popping by. Azrin @ http://www.azrin.net
Then see more people come in.
Do this DAILY.
See your rankings go up….
And your pool of friends get bigger.
Make sure YOU MAINTAIN THAT POOL OF RETURNING PEOPLE! I will teach you that later on.
Do it on a regular basis and thus, you make more friends. Your SEO will now get much more precise!
An old trick I use to get more people to come visit my own blogs and not get caught out by the Spiders and Engineers (of Anti-Fraud Section) is basicly, getting more visitors to come into your own place.
Forget wasting hundreds of dollars on CPM Campaigns in Adbrite Terristrials and so forth, and link exchange won’t cut it. Simply put it, BlogWalking. A fellow friend coined this term for me for I love to walk about the web, for pages and pages to read. And get ideas.
One good easy way is to install the MyBlogLog Widget. There you see a whole list of who came by and on top of tracking yr clicks and so forth, you see who dropped by.
So, the good part is, you go back to the other geezer’s pages and drop a comment, thanking em for coming by, with a Tagline of your URL and site after the message.
Here come the best part, you go and get to that visitors pages *(open a new tab or something) and look deep in, click a few pages, and then, drop to his visitors page’s (Profiles then go to their webpage). You deep link from A visitor and normally lands with 10-20 links deep.
So, that process reciprocate to you. So you get 20 new visitors each day. If you get eager beaver, you will spend more time, and make them into friends by offering some freebies or something. Remember, anyone can be your alliance.
But remember to thank your visitors. That brings good PR and Rankings.Just 20 new visitors a day gets you a good Alexa Ranking of -3,000 each month. Imagine they come back, and click more. The more PR comes to you and if you are think faced, write a memoir about them and they too will reciprocate, just like a fellow friend, Diana and wrote a nice article about me. Tit for that. Link for link, process never finish.
That’s the Tip of the Week!
Enjoy the Cheesecake

I was working on the Walkabouts of a Singaporean in Europe when an idea struck me, why not have the POST NAME or PAGE NAME up on the title.
Surely someone must have thought of that…
so eventually, I have to RECODE the Header.php to look something like this:
< !– if this is Home Page — >
< title >< ?php bloginfo(’name’); ? >< /title >
< meta name=”Title” content=”< ?php bloginfo(’name’); ? >” / >
< link rel=”alternate” type=”application/rss+xml” title=”RSS 2.0″ href=”< ?php bloginfo(’rss2_url’); ? >” / >
< link rel=”alternate” type=”application/rss+xml” title=”Comments RSS 2.0″ href=”" / >
< link rel=”alternate” type=”text/xml” title=”RSS 0.92″ href=”< ?php bloginfo(’rss_url’); ? >” / >
< link rel=”alternate” type=”application/atom+xml” title=”Atom 0.3″ href=”< ?php bloginfo(’atom_url’); ?>” / >
< link rel=”pingback” href=”< ?php bloginfo(’pingback_url’); ? >” / >
< ?php } ?>
< !– Mod the above to see if title shows the blogname :: Title of Post –>
And when its not HOME PAGE, we don’t need the rSS crap.
< ?php if (is_page()); { ?>
< meta name=”Title” content=”< ?php bloginfo(’name’); ? > - < ?php the_title();? >” / >
< title>< ?php bloginfo(’name’); ? > : < ?php the_title(); ? >< /title >
< ?php }?>
Remember to save your header.php and upload back.
I’m rating this Level 2 Techie as it does not need much modification.
