Mining as a service.

Mining as a service.
First off, this is not to be taken lightly in view of BTC or BITCOIN has reached a critical USD540 mark recently and those who were hogging it are really booming from this phenomena.
What is BITCOIN or any of the digital coins? Think of this as another form of currency, obtained digitally thru mining and Proof of Work and there is a limited supply of these coins about.
Anyone can create a currency and it's not so hard, but being accepted is another matter altogether. As time goes by, the stockpile of coins are reduced and the chain gets harder to mine.
As of today, after the launch of BITCOIN, the difficulty stands at 8.8+ Trilion and that goes up 8% every 14 days or so and at current rate, using a 1TH *(Tera Hash) miner which is the biggest in the market **(cos it takes 1000W of Power), it would take you about 500+ days to find a block worth 25 coins or so.
So, they work as a pool to mine and combine the compute capability to find the next block and everyone is given a fair share based on their computing grid.
In retrospect, 1TH or 1024GH consists of 40 or so ASIC chips and these are far faster than your GPU/VIDEO card. One GEFORCE 750M can throw up about 1.4MH and and i7 CPU about 2.5MH or so.
It all goes back to the basics of computing which is CISC or RISC process compute. Think of a Motorcycle can go faster in a short sprint than a huge truck.

I am now writing this in SHENZEN,CHINA where I hope I make the right decision in my R&D to rate and test this machine all together, but the other cryptos such as SHA256D which Bitcoin uses *(and I paid for) is far shorter than of SCRYPT, SCRYPT-N and the latest X-11 which the ASIC chip cannot handle. I may look into the possibility of R&D some X11 machine as I see a trick somewhere here. All I need now is a XEON Machine with 8 cores and Dual CPU to prove my theory right.

Lets see where it goes.

Media Statement

Someone asked if I am from MyRepublic....

I am basically an independent consultant.... and so.. I am not working for MyRepublic nor I am a staff.

Official statement.

Hi NGBC and all.....

I don't work for MyRepublic aka "the company". I am independent... I am a Customer AND CONSUMER ...and I am not affiliated to them, other than being a happy camper..and refer customers to them because I LIKE THEIR SERVICE. I get some compensation for that. You should be too if you are happy with them.

We , the MPP, are independent partners/channel partners/resellers and it's also stated in my blog about me being honest about whatever my opinions were as I do not receive remuneration for my endorsements. It's purely like a "REFER-A-FRIEND" program..... and honestly.. I am still licensed by IDA to work for other ISPs in accordance to ICANN mandates pertaining ISPCP members. Thus the knowledge of the whole industry is commonly shared to others as I do not believe in hiding anything.

Sorry to say, my stand makes me labeled "WORST BLOGGER OF ALL TIME" for 3 years.... and I stick to my principles because if a product is good.. it's good and if something goes weary... then it should NOT be covered up and resolved openly so others can learn on it.

MR did something wrong somewhere within the network.... we let them know and they will get it fixed. I am very curious too as it's something for us to learn from the mistakes they made, just as during the ICANN49 meet which discussed about the Google NameServer hacked despite being DNSSEC signed.

As such, you see me going about the forums even helping those in red, green and other camps with their network, be it ADSL, Fiber or even Metro-E as I have the working knowledge of things, and with my G60 clearance, I can sway many sides....and still stay neutral of things.

You can find out more about me from LinkedIn

Thank you

Condolences to #MH370

I can't say enough... but on behalf of myself, family , friends and those within ARF Solution, MyRepublic Partners and Zyraz Technology Group International, we would like to extend our sincere condolences to the families , kin, friends and alike of those on board Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 which the Malaysian Government declared them as Lost at Sea.

It is not appropriate to declare their loss before the bodies or full wreckage is found and as such and at till a point of time, our sites will be dimmed and in the colors of mourning, Plain White or Dark Gloomy Grey.

I will be wearing those colors at the ICANN Community Meet aka ICANN49 in Singapore wearing sombre T-Shirt instead as a mark of respect to those who perished.

May God have Mercy on their Souls.

Data Protection Compliance

OK, somehow I am emboiled into this again and I have to place this as one of my entities is in Malaysia.

We don't store data here nor will we intend to. Go scream at someone else.
We do not push Cookies into this place so, if there is any, ask GOOGLE.

Thank you for reading this.

Standard \disclosures etc etc etc are available somewhere within this website.

accident again

yeah, new year and its already the start of the rainy season, and I've been lucky that mother nature been kind to me.

however, a silly bus driver decided that a road with double white lines is a good place to do a u turn and I am unfortunate enuff to smack his side. with bruises to my tummy and body, and multiple hits to the head, I am still facing giddiness and pain all over. plus the groin is bruised up bad with scrapes and bruises.

other than that, I'm still lucky to be alive. too bad the other party might loose his driving license.

Testing my bits by spreading the word of Allah

Many knows I am a Singaporean and I am a muslim.
As much as possible, I am a supporter of charities.
So I am helping out Brother Amir with his Quran app on Google Play.

I am testing out to ease his load as a co-hoster. This is primary loaded on MyRepublic Network and hope they don't DDOS me out. That is why the load balancing is critical and I am primarily loaded thru IPv6. It's my first step into community crowd loaded hosting...so please bear with us. 50Mbps link is not that swift.. but hope it works faster on IPv6. Please enable IPv6 on your devices ya.. or use Hurricane Electric TunnelBroker to get that.

Test out the Surah Yasin by Sheik Basit : http://sg-01.azrin.info/Quran/Basit/s036.mp3

I will need some co-hosts to load this project as the server is too little.
If you wish to donate, please PAYPAL to azrin12970(AT)gmail.com

Any amount will do. SG and Malaysian Ringgit , please sms 81196830 / 017-4648814
This is to offset the power bill...and inshallah, upgrade the servers.

Thanks for reading,  Barakallah.

DO NOT CALL ME

Now there is the Data Protection Act, the consumers are now shielded from our unscrupulous pinoy telemarketing agents of Citibank, Standard Chartered, DBS , Prudential, Great Eastern and many more.. asking you to help them sign up for bank cards, loans, insurance plans etc.

The weapon is now a $10,000 fine and we can now demand COMPENSATION for the breach. Outright blackmail I would say, but hey, who did not check the list right? Courts paid a token sum few mths back to apologise for the offense, and now the DNC is up.

How does it work for you as a consumer?

First off, you need to register your phone number.
Click on the Register Online

Then Enter your Phone Number, and tick ALL the options.

there will be an OTP given.
Enter it and that's it!

What about companies?
You need to register your company UEN and Singpass. There is a $30 registration and 500 credits. I am not sure how it works, but B2B are not covered in the filter. So I can still call you to sell MyRepublic Business Broadband Services or VOIP Servers for your business... if you get what I mean.

If you run a marketing list... this is where they make money. Each number search costs 2.3 cents!
I saw somewhere the bulk scheme works to $10,000 for a Million Number Searches and you *SHOULD* get 3 million number searches in use for Singapore. Level 3 numbers are excluded.

I remember a script I used for RAS during my dialup BBS days to check for phone numbers.... and I think I should use that script soon... Outsource Checks.

Maybe we can have a PLEASE CALL ME LIST right?

LinkedIn Spam

If you received some spam from linkedin via MyBizcard.co ...then I am truly sorry. Somethings have gone wrong and if you have clicked on them, you too have got your account smacked.

Please do this...

First off... go into your Linkedin account and mouse over to your face on the top right corner.
There a sub menu will come out and click on the review privacy..

What you see here is the aftermath of me being so pissed off finding the settings but the next image will be a little tad clearer.

This is the silly part where you logged in and verify your identity first and then you click on the 3rd tab, under the Groups settings and applications. You can also remove yourself from the group there too... for yr info.

On the View Applications, you see a whole load of bunch of applications there. I even see one that says... DO NOT AUTHORISE THIS APPLICATION. Somehow someone did screw up somewhere.... and I did not check them till today.

By clicking on the applications, you can then remove them all.

Keep those you recognise and use often, and I don't suggest you keep Microsoft or Google linked to your account.

God knows what evil can they do.

And if you still get spam from me... call me!~
